What we do

• Replace basins, pedestals and vanity units
• Replace baths, with new wastes and taps

• First-fix and second-fix plumbing for a refit

What we don’t do

We don’t do electrical work, so we don’t wire electric showers. We don’t do gas or heating work either. If your refit needs an electrician or a Gas Safe engineer, we’re happy to work alongside them.

Low shower pressure?

Common causes are a limescaled shower head or valve, a part-closed isolation valve, or the way your hot and cold supplies are arranged. Tell us what system you have and we’ll talk through the options.

Planning a bathroom change

The order of a bathroom job matters. The plumbing that sits inside walls and under floors, the first fix, needs to go in before boarding and tiling. The basins, taps, toilet and shower fittings, the second fix, go in afterwards. If you’re managing the job yourself with several trades, agree who’s doing what and in what order before anything is removed.

Decide early where each fitting will go and choose your shower valve and taps before the walls are closed up, because they affect where the pipes need to be. If you’re moving a toilet, check where the soil pipe is and whether the new position will give the waste enough fall. Toilets are the hardest fitting to move.

Kitchens

For a kitchen, the same thinking applies: sink position, dishwasher and washing machine connections, and the waste route all need agreeing before the units arrive. We can do the plumbing side and work around your kitchen fitter’s plan.
