Plumbing and drainage services
Everything we do, in one place. Plumbing and drains only: no gas, boilers or electrical work.
Leak detection & repair
Drips under sinks, damp patches on ceilings, a meter that keeps turning. We trace the source and repair it.
Leak repair →Burst & frozen pipes
Water coming through a ceiling or a pipe split by frost. Turn off your stop tap and call us, any hour.
Burst pipes →Blocked drains
Slow sinks, overflowing gullies, a blocked manhole or toilet. We clear blockages and find out what caused them.
Blocked drains →Toilet repair & replacement
Constant running, weak flushes, leaks at the base, blocked pans. Repairs, new cisterns and full replacements.
Toilet repairs →Taps & sinks
Dripping or stiff taps, limescale-clogged aerators, new kitchen and bathroom taps, sink waste and trap leaks.
Taps and sinks →Pipework repair & replacement
Corroded, noisy or leaking pipes, outside taps, stop taps, and replacing old lead or galvanised runs.
Pipework →Appliance plumbing
Plumbing in washing machines and dishwashers, new valves, waste connections and fixing leaks behind appliances.
Appliance plumbing →Bathroom & kitchen plumbing
Replacing basins, baths, mixer showers, sinks and wastes. Plumbing only, no gas or electrical work.
Bathroom and kitchen →Not sure which of these you need?
Plumbing problems don’t always look like what they are. A damp patch on a ceiling might be a leaking pipe, but it might equally be a failed seal around a shower tray or a toilet pan connector. A gurgling sink might be a blockage in its own trap, or a sign that the drain further down is struggling. A cistern that keeps running might be a worn washer or limescale in the fill valve.
You don’t need to diagnose it before you call. Tell us what you can see and hear, where it is in the house, and when you first noticed it. We’ll ask a few questions and tell you what we think is going on and what the likely fix involves. Often we can tell you whether it’s urgent or whether it can wait for a normal visit, and sometimes there’s a simple thing you can do in the meantime, like turning off an isolation valve.
If you’ve got more than one small job, like a dripping tap, a running toilet and an outside tap that needs an isolation valve, mention them all at once. It’s usually easier to sort several small jobs in one visit than to book them one at a time.
What we don’t do
We’d rather be clear up front. We don’t work on boilers, gas appliances, gas pipework or central heating, and we don’t do electrical work. That includes wiring electric showers or immersion heaters.
For gas and boiler work, use a Gas Safe registered engineer. For electrical work, use a registered electrician.
